The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
